Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Executive in collaboration with our clinical teams, you will

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner who is excited to step into a role that offers challenge, growth, and the ability to make a real difference. If this sounds like you, here is what you will need:

  • College of Nurses of Ontario registration in the Extended Class (EC) in good standing
  • Current membership in RNAO and/or NPAO
  • Completion of a Prescribing Narcotics and Controlled Substances course approved by the CNO
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification
  • Strong clinical judgment and advanced assessment skills to manage diverse patient needs
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care

HOURS OF WORK
Permanent Full Time. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the ONA collective agreement.

GBGH is a 113-bed hospital at the heart of a thriving community, serving Midland, Penetanguishene, Township of Tiny, Township of Tay, Christian Island, Georgian Bay Township, and Springwater Township. Our catchment area swells from 55,000 to over 150,000 in peak seasons, making us a critical hub for healthcare.

We are not just maintaining services—we are growing and evolving to better serve our community. Current expansions include:

  • A 2,500 sq. ft. MRI expansion, improving diagnostic imaging capacity
  • A 50,000 sq. ft. emergency department expansion, introducing 24 inpatient mental health beds
